This is interesting because I live in the US Midwest. We have everything from farm thugs who threaten small farmers over competing crops to the "fireworks" mafia who shakedown small independent firework distributors. But what is funny is I have heard rumors of some of the wind farm companies being run by organized crime. Now people around here thing 6 guys running a meth lab is organized crime but you get the idea. Mostly it is toward a couple of companies that specialize in lease and build farms. You lease the land for a set price, they build the wind farm, then you get a small percentage if they make money.
Mr. T made his van go twice the speed of light because he wanted to prove that quantum physics was a bunch of jibba jabba.

You are right, where is the difference? Both are more of the same, sadly, and probably togheter under the table, sadly, we the people, are loosing not them.
