Can no one see that meeting God removes God? The ideal behind god is that He is beyond out mortal understanding. If we can rationalize the bugger, then do we not put him at our level? If so, what makes Him God then?

As our ability to examine the world has increased, our original assumptions about it have been changed. Just like we assumed that space and time were absolute, and were WRONG (see special and general relativity), so too were our original assumptions about matter.
