Yep Spirits in many forms are as real as your hand in front of your face.:ack: We wonder why many folks choose to say: "Ignore them." Or even, "No way Josez." Even your precious pets that were cherished by family members and then pass over to the " other side of the lake", enjoy hanging around their family forever. We like to dish out some tasty food and put it in a nice dish for the 2legged spirits. As for dead, but still loved pets, a nice bowl of dog/cat kibble and fresh water

The Ghost Hunters' canine paranormal-investigator: Maddie, has performed adequately so far, but they need to hook her up with a head-cam... Then assign one human to essentially linger behind her. The cam will show the direction and duration-of-time her focus is fixed. To this point, she's been investigating with 3 humans. I'm either losing "it" or gaining something. I prefer to think it's a little bit of both. As some of you might now (although very unlikely), I had an encounter with a "dark figure" in my hallway when I used to live on guam. This dark figure seemed to be made of pure evil, and when it touched me, i felt more terror fill through my body than I had ever felt before. Ever since that day, i've had a hightened sence of perception. I was able to see things more artistically, i could read people better, I could tell when something was near me, and I could see "things" that i could not explain, like this "dark figure," who keeps a close watch on me through the darkness of the night. I was able to see this guy just fine, and hated everytime I did, but why couldn't I see other ghosts. It turns out that I coulld the whole time, I just didn't know how I was supposed to see them. It all started like 3 hours ago. I was having fun with my baby brother (just a bit over 1 year old) and he abruptly stops laughing...

My eight year old son had a startling encounter using his cell phone. While recording a song he was trying come up with. He captured an evp that startled him when he played it back. This dark spoky road in my current residence place of Yorktown, Virginia is said to be haunted. Now just to let yall know this is located around Colonial Yorktown...which is a historical place since Yorktown, VA is where the Revolutionary war ended and this area is rumored to be a place where blacks aren't too liked....its a small part of the city, for the most part Yorktown is a racial hate free city. Its a one way, narrow street with no street lights at all. On the bridge, that you see halfway down the road, the bridge is filled with graffitti. It has Nazi symbols and racial slurs towards blacks on over it with gang symbols and the likes. I went there with a group of friends on Jan. 13th, 2008 and we got shot at by some Neo-Nazis. This was similar to a haunting, when I was younger, I had this thing happen where I remember I was in bed, trying to fall asleep when a massive 12 foot tall sasquatch-like thing entered my room, it was hunched over as to not hit the celing, and it was extremely silent, almost like a shadow creature. It was very ominous, and caused me to turn the other way, burying myself in the blankets in fear, facing the opposite way with my face to the wall. I laid there for at least 10 minutes, knowing it was still behind me. It was the most terrifying experience ever, I could not call out to my mom or dad, because it would hear and see me, so I just laid still, waiting until it left. My window was wide open, which creeped me out even more. It was one of the creepiest experiences of my life, and I still don't know what happened even to this day.

I am still experiencing things. You can help, if you want to. That would be nice. One of my dreams: I was in my house, and I saw two ghosts. I said the Lord's Prayer; one of ghosts went away/disappeared. The other ghost(which I think is evil or demonic, by the strength it had/has), got angry and said something to make me scared. I think it said, "I will hurt/kill you." Once I woke-up, I felt like I was going to get attacked/hurt by it. This dream happened, after I provoked/challenged it and said the Lord's Prayer. I feel the heat (by me seeing Hell) everyday and the demons tell me things that I cannot explain. When I was in the kitchen (by myself), I saw in the corner of my eye a black animal looking figure next to me when I turned to that direction I saw NOTHING!!! If you can imagine the things I go through and not understand and the people I know, don't believe me. How can I be myself and tell others? I want to tell them, I don't want to be labeled as "Weird". My parents always try to make me stop...

I posted this haunting on another thread a couple of years back, It fits better here. I was resting in my bed one morning with my eyes closed. Without opening my eyes, I sensed some being enter the room. I thought it was my dog, come begging for a walk in the park. So I felt no alarm. There was pressure on the mattress. Again I thought it was he, about to give me a lick. So I remained open to his affection. Suddenly there was loud animal snort/growl right beside my ear. Every muscle and sinew suddenly went rigid. It felt as though I was being gripped from within by iron bands. For some unknown reason I remained calm. When I was probably around three or four, I would spend the night at my grandmas alot. She had an old house, 100 years or so. The previous owner had died there. It started one night when I was in the kitchen eating, I looked into the dining room which was completley dark except the dim light that shone in from the library in the adjacent room. I saw a mist like figure, walk throught the dining room into the library and up the stairs. Young and scared I told my grandma that I'd seen a ghost. First post in the paranormal section. here goes.... My mom recently moved to Moulton, TX. The house she moved into is a quaint little 3 bedroom house that was built in the early 1900's, but not long after she moved in strange things started happening. I'm a spiritual person and believe that ghosts exist, yet at the same time, do not easily believe every ghost story or paranormal experience I hear. My mom started telling me about the strange things that were happening in her "new" house I thought she was being silly or skittish from being in a new environment. The first week I visited there changed my mind. The house being 100 years old, I expected some creaks and groans, what I got was slamming doors, open cabinets, and other strange things. My mom's experiences were trivial... something strumming her guitar once lightly when nothing was anywhere near it. Locked doors slamming shut, waking up and all the cabinet doors were open. A friend of hers was there and had her hair repeatedly pulled. ...

Okay this is what happened last night, my husband come home at 8pm he brings food, (since it's Summer by the way the kids new bedtime is 10pm). We eat he decides to get more stuff done in the garage, woodworking and what not, and my girls want to go out with him, we have a ncie attic filled with toys, so they are safe up there. I said i would be out later i had some stuff to do. So while everyone went out, inclduing my son, I closed the window in the livingroom, turned the light off in the basement and turned the and muted the tv off. I then went out in the garage. Twenty minutes later my husband asks me to go into the house and get his digital camera, i am like okay, I run upstairs and back, then 20 minutes later my kids are like can you open this toy so we can put batteries in it? I was like okay, i run into the house open the basement door, because you had to have a screw driver to open it, and the lights turned on, I ws like huh? i just turned them off, okay. I run downstairs grab the screw and run back...

I had thought for sure that I had made a thread about the first house my kids and I stayed in and rented when we first moved here, but can't find it. Let's just say that it started off with small things, when we moved in in September of 99, but that by the time the year was up on the lease, we were moving and no way in hell were going to spend another night there..especially not with halloween a mere matter of weeks away. There would be little things that were minor annoyances, and I used to think the kids were playing tricks on me, so when I brought it up, my daughter's eyes got really big because she thought I was the ones playing the tricks! Throughout my childhood I remember "strange" things all family member experienced. My brother and I had rooms upstairs. There were 2 completed rooms and an attic which accessible by an ordinary door with knobs and a latch. It was a daily occurrence that door is ajar thinking my brother is trying to "freak" me out. I always shut the door if it's open and again, find it open. One day my brother told me that there was a white silhouette going toward my room. I didn't go to my room for a length of period. When I was 9 yrs old my sister passed away from MS. I was in bed asleep and (I shared a room with my other sister), my eldest sister is the one that passed. She was in the hospital up at Sterling , IL., some 4 hours away. This was 4o yrs ago. So medical technology was not as advanced as it is now. But she had severe MS. It paralized her organs and she could not breath on her own or walk or speak. She was 21 yrs of age at the time of her death. But , as I was saying I was only 9 yrs old and there were 5 of us kids. She was the eldest and I was the youngest. there were 3 of us girls and 2 boys.
