  2. Calling all targeted individuals!!

Are you a targeted individual? Are you taking measures to protect yourself and your family from electronic harassment? If so, I want to hear from YOU. I'm currently working with a major US cable network to develop a documentary (series) which will feature the stories of individuals who believe they're being subjected to electronic harassment. If you're interested in taking part, I'd love to hear from you. I'm looking for video submissions of victims out about in the real world, going about their normal lives while being harassed in addition to footage of individuals ACTIVELY taking measures to protect themselves and / or their families (e.g. creating magnetron shielding.) Casting video submissions can be send for free via Youtube upload or via WeTransfer.Com to BostonCasting@hotmail.com Or if you simply want to find out more about the project, please get in touch: BostonCasting@hotmail.com

  4. Build you own LED lighting

1525 here is a post I did for another forum recently in response to the question "gas lights or flashlights?" I agree that LEDS are the way to go. I have built several over the last 6 or 7 years, many as gifts. We tested on of the ones I made to see how long the batteries would last and they lasted about 400 hours (3 D cells at 15 milliamps). I have made some high power led flashlights as well using Lumileds 1 watt leds (45 lumens). I typically run them at 1 half to two third of the rated current for maximum led life. I prefer to bould my own since some manufacturers run the leds to the limit and end up with units rated at only 10,000 hours (not bad considering incandescent flashlight bulbs last 15 to 20 hours). If you decide to build your own, check how many hours they are rated at 50,000 to 100,000 hours are available. www.lumileds.com Here is some theory on using LEDS:

  6. profit is illegal with p-mobile impossible to build

the principles of Thermodynamics say no over unity p-mobile and no p-mobile conservators are possible to build (are against nature to be functional) so the only option is for every machine to be energetic loser. when all the machines in the salesman's arsenal are energetic losers why don't he admit 30% lost while working but instead he's asking for 30% financial profit. that's called stealing for entire 60% above the 70% sold goods. and then the state says it's okay to steal profitably only if you thieve him additional 20% tax on profit for us (you're profiting him but he will pay the penalties). AND AMERICA AS TOP PROFITEER IS NOT GUILTY AT ALL FOR DESERVING THE 9.11.2001 tween strike. humans are not destined to survive... in fact they stole their life from GOD while they were in the form of EDEN's snake (EDEN's snake is the true ancestor of them humans not the monkey, just follow the benefit drive thirst in the story of forbidden fruit -- sex until pregnancy).

  7. The thing that the screw goes into

There is a dishwasher in work that has been in the cafe since my boss' family moved here from Italy during the war. Last week one on the weights on a chain snapped off and slid down the pipe to the motor. I managed to get it out but couldn't attatch it to the chain because the hook had snapped. We replaced it with a fishing weight and it was working just fine until today. Today a bar that was screwed to another bar came loose and now we cannot use the 'empty water' function but it still washes. The inner bar where the screw was attached has partially snapped from rust wear and taer and now I don't know what to do to reatach the bar. Does anyone have any suggestions? They would be much appreciated. Sorry for the drawn out description and lack of jargon but I really am a novice at this but my boss expects miracles regardless

  8. Jawbone Jambox big

Picked up this bluetooth speaker today ( on sale) its quite a piece of work, better than my Philip's bluetooth. I had thought about Bose soundlink as well, as their in the same price range, but the Jawbone had a 100db sound range,... whooa... and good mid range and impressive sound and battery life ( estimated 15 hours). DialApps let you configure the "J" button to do things such as voice dialing, access Siri on iOS devices..cool stuff. Pros: easy sync mode, live audio surround sound, good base effect, hands free phone system, long battery life, data updates. compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android smartphones and tablets, and most Mac or PC computers, lots of apps. Con: A brick compared to the smaller jambox, but still a portable..Measuring 10.1 x 3.7 x 3.2 inches and weighing 2.7 pounds. Price...ugg..depending where you buy...250/300... Kick ass bluetooth speaker!

  9. Stylish Two Drawer Faraday Cage

If you think you may need a Faraday cage and you don’t want to spend too much time or money and you want it to look nice in your den or home office then this is the project for you. You can use your Faraday cage to store some of your electronic devices when they are not in use and protect them against the effects of a solar storm: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_storm_of_1859 or an electromagnetic pulse from an exoatmospheric nuclear detonation: http://www.empcommission.org/docs/empc_exec_rpt.pdf If you do not have one already, you will need to purchase a metal file cabinet.

  10. Outdoor surveillance with condenser microphones

PJ over at http://www.prepper-resources.com/ Re-posted my Instructable on making a condenser microphone power supply and added some commentary and also made the connection that with such a sensitive microphone set up (and cheap), it would make a good audio surveillance set up for emergency situations. You would be able to hear what’s going on as if you were standing outside while you are still indoors with all the doors and windows shut. The article is here (including the schematic, assembly drawings and photos: http://www.prepper-resources.com/outdoor-surveillance-with-condenser-microphones/ Here is a little bit from the article: Condenser Microphones typically sound better than dynamic microphones. If you are unfamiliar with these two types of microphones you may want to read about them in this Wikipedia article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microphones#Condenser_microphone

  11. 3D Printer can make anything. Almost.

An interesting future. http://www.ted.com/talks/lisa_harouni_a_primer_on_3d_printing.html 2012 may be the year of 3D printing, when this three-decade-old technology finally becomes accessible and even commonplace. Lisa Harouni gives a useful introduction to this fascinating way of making things -- including intricate objects once impossible to create. Lisa Harouni is the co-founder of Digital Forming, working in "additive manufacturing" -- or 3D printing.

  15. Cheap long run time flashlights

Since I have a few prepper friends and family I decided to shop around for some inexpensive long run time flashlights. As you may know from the thread on capacitor flashlights, I don’t need any batteries for flashlights but these are so cheap I decided to buy some for here and there like at work or in my car trunk. Plus they make great gifts. I found several products but the two that really caught my eye were surprisingly made/marketed by battery companies. First there is a two pack I found at a Target store. It is an Energizer product. It does not appear on the Energizer.com web site. Here is a description on it: 2 flashlights per pack with 2 carbon type d cells included. Each flashlight runs on one d cell. The package says 40 hour run time. I made some quick current measurements and it looks like 40 hours with a carbon battery is very likely. 20 hours is a sure thing. I am planning on doing a test on the actual run time. It will run about twice as long with an alkaline battery. They did a...

  20. Batdog on Technology

The Guardian Dog – the star of Text From Dog – takes time out from annoying his owner to give his thoughts on technology ... and bacon What's your favourite piece of technology, and how has it improved your life? I have a rubber hamburger that squeaks. It's pretty awesome but I suppose it doesn't count as "technology". I have a mobile phone, and I learned to text on it. It hasn't really improved my life. Maybe if I was a human I'd say "My phone is AMAZING. I couldn't LIVE without it." Luckily I'm a dog. Humans are idiots. When was the last time you used it, and what for? Two minutes ago. I sent a text to the guy who "looks after me". It said "Buy me biscuits". I sent it 29 times so he doesn't forget. Now he's swearing at me. This is the kind of stuff I have to put up with.
